In 2020, tech employers pledged to adopt mindsets and initiatives that would make their workplaces more diverse and welcoming for people of all backgrounds. But have their promises been met? Our 2022 State of DEI in Tech report has the answers. We surveyed both employers and employees to see how the tech industry has progressed since 2020. The short answer: some progress has been made but candidates and employees alike need more. And employers must listen if they want to retain and hire great talent.
